Project Reset was a five-week team project split into five design sprints as a part of the White Space Design Challenge. We researched the current state of sex education through a deep dive of secondary research, interviews exploring students' sex education experiences, and journey-mapping the sex education process. This project was rewarded with the William Stumpf Fund for Student Research from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's School of Art + Design.
Through this research, we landed on a point of intervention to address varying sex education experiences as people enter young adulthood. The concept of The Reset was born, a program that would set a new foundation for sex education and get everyone on the same page as they reach adulthood.
